SOCIAL MEDIA PRIVACY POLICY
1. USER INFORMATION
Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
RECUPERACIONES HERMANOS HUANG, S.L., hereinafter referred to as the RESPONSIBLE PARTY, informs the USER that it has created profiles on the following Social Networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, and Google+, and that it is responsible for the processing of the personal data of users carried out on these social networks. It also informs you that such data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD), and therefore provides the following information regarding the processing of data.
What do we process your personal data for?
Purpose of processing: to maintain a relationship between the USER and the RESPONSIBLE PARTY, which may include the following activities:
Processing requests and inquiries made to the data controller
Providing information about activities and events organized by the data controller
- Providing information about products or services offered by the data controller
Interacting through official social media profiles
Why are we allowed to process your personal data?
Legal basis for processing: Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR, whereby the data subject has given consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.
The USER has a profile on the same social network and has decided to follow the data controller’s social media profiles, thereby showing interest in the information published on them. Therefore, when requesting to follow our official profiles, the USER provides consent for the processing of personal data published on their profile.
The USER may access the privacy policies of the social network at any time and configure their profile to ensure their privacy. The RESPONSIBLE PARTY has access to and processes publicly available information of the USER, especially their contact name. This data is only used within the social network itself and will only be incorporated into a file of the RESPONSIBLE PARTY when necessary to process the USER’s request.
How long do we keep your personal data?
Data retention criteria: Data will be kept as long as the USER does not withdraw the consent granted, as stated in this Privacy Policy.
Who do we share your personal data with?
The information provided by the USER through the data controller’s social media profiles, including personal data, may be published depending on the services used by the USER. Therefore, it may be publicly available to other third-party users of the social networks.
From each social network profile, the USER may configure what information they wish to make public at any time, review granted permissions, and revoke or disable them, as well as any third-party applications they no longer wish to use. No personal data will be disclosed to third parties outside the social network, except where strictly necessary for the development and execution of the purposes of processing. In such cases, data may be shared with communication service providers, with whom the RESPONSIBLE PARTY has signed the required confidentiality and data processing agreements in accordance with current privacy regulations.
What are your rights?
Rights available to the USER: these may only be exercised in relation to information that is under the control of the RESPONSIBLE PARTY.
The right to withdraw consent at any time
- The right to access, rectify, transfer, and erase your data, as well as the right to restrict or object to its processing
The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations

2. PROFILE USE
The RESPONSIBLE PARTY will carry out the following actions:
Access to public profile information
- Publication on the USER’s profile of any information already published on the RESPONSIBLE PARTY’s social network
Sending personal and individual messages through the social network channels
Status updates from the page that may be published on the USER’s profile
The USER can always control their connections, delete content that is no longer of interest, and restrict with whom they share their connections. To do so, the USER must access their privacy settings.
3. POSTS
Once the USER follows or joins the data controller’s social network, they may post comments, links, images, photographs, or any other type of multimedia content supported by the platform. In all cases, the USER must be the owner of the published content, hold the corresponding copyright and intellectual property rights, or have the consent of any affected third parties.
Any publication on the social network is expressly prohibited if it includes content—such as texts, graphics, photographs, videos, etc.—that may violate or be considered to violate morality, ethics, good taste, or public order, and/or that infringes intellectual or industrial property rights, image rights, or applicable law.
In such cases, the RESPONSIBLE PARTY reserves the right to immediately remove the content without prior notice and may request the permanent blocking of the USER.
The RESPONSIBLE PARTY shall not be held responsible for content freely published by a USER.
The USER must be aware that their posts will be visible to other users, and therefore they are solely responsible for their own privacy.
Images that may be published on the social network will not be stored in any database by the RESPONSIBLE PARTY, although they will remain on the social network platform.
4. DATA OF MINORS OR PERSONS WITH SPECIAL CAPACITY
Access and registration through the RESPONSIBLE PARTY’s social networks is prohibited for minors under 18 years of age. Likewise, if the USER has special needs or limited capacity, the intervention of their parent or legal guardian, or their legal representative, will be required, together with valid documentation proving such representation.
The RESPONSIBLE PARTY is expressly exempt from any liability that may arise from the use of the social networks by minors or persons with special capacity. The RESPONSIBLE PARTY’s social networks do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors. Therefore, if the USER is underage, they must not register, use the social networks of the RESPONSIBLE PARTY, or provide any personal information.
